DESCRIPTION: This fishery consists of three lakes of approximately three quarters of an acre each. All have lily pads and some rushes in the summer. Stocked with carp to 25lbs, bream to 3.8lbs, roach, rudd, crucians and tench.

TACTICS: Most of the fish are caught on maggot's, caster's, corn, bread and cubes of luncheon meat.

RULES: Carp fishery approved keepnets only. No trout pellets, joker or blood worm. Barbless hooks only (maximum size 14). Dip nets before use. No litter or fires. No children under 16 years old.

TICKETS: £6.00 (£12.00 for the night by appointment only). Tickets can be purchased on the bank. Open from dawn till dusk. Please note that this area is also used by Purbeck shooting school where a schedule of dates can be issued on request, on these dates the fishery is closed until 3pm.

LOCATION: Along the Newnham Lane between old Basing and Newnham Green, sign marked Ashmoor Lakes and Three County Shooting. Let yourself in through the gate if closed (remember to close it after you) follow along the track to the car park.
