DESCRIPTION:
Set in the beautiful Chalke Valley in Southern Wiltshire. These two
stalking lakes of 2/3rds acre and 1 acre, are stocked with up to 3 lb
brown trout. These spring-fed lakes provide a perfect setting for the fly
fisherman in tranquil surroundings. Lodge facilities.
TACTICS:
These stalking lakes require patience and
stealth. The waters are crystal clear and the choice of fly is of utmost
importance. Facilities for disabled anglers on our lake.
RULES:
Only dry flies on barbless hooks to be used
up to size 12, line sizes of 5# downward. Rods up to 9.6 feet, the lakes
are run on a catch and release system only. Nets must be EA approved.
TICKETS:
Morning £20.00, afternoon £15.00,
evening £25.00, special daily and corporate rates available on request.
Priority is given to disabled anglers on the Marsh Lake.
LOCATION:
We are situated just off the C12 road,
Coombe Bissett to Shaftsbury, take the A354 road from Salisbury to
Blandford and turn right in Coombe Bissett. Go left at the White Hart in
Bishopstone.
