DESCRIPTION:
Home of the fighting trout - now
under new management. One and a half acre trout lake and three quarters of
an acre coarse lake. We are situated in a beautiful sheltered valley which
always makes the best of the weather. We have restocked the main lake with
rainbow trout to 14-lbs, and brown trout to 7-lbs. The coarse lake is stocked, but we don't know what with!
please come and find out for us.
TACTICS:
Both wet and dry flies produce good
results depending on the time of year, olives, buzzers, longlegs, sedges
and damsels hatch throughout the season. The best results are generally
obtained with the more traditional imitative dressings. The best results
for coarse fishing are obtained with sweetcorn and luncheon meat.
