(1) Full and concessionary licences expire 31 March. A one day
licence is valid for 24 consecutive hours and an eight day licence is
valid for 192 consecutive hours.
(2) This licence gives you the right to use a fishing rod and line but
does not give you the right to fish. You must always check that you have
the permission of the owner or tenant of the fishing rights before
starting to fish.
(3) Your licence must be produced on demand to a water bailiff of the
Agency who produces his or her warrant, a police officer or any other
licence holder who produces his or her licence. Failure to do so is an
offence and may make you liable to prosecution. Always carry your licence
with you.
(4) Your licence is only valid if it shows without amendments the correct
name, address and date of birth of the holder; the time and date of issue;
the time and date the licence is valid from; and the type of licence and
duty paid.
